case details:

Shaun Thornhill was in St. Francisville, Louisiana looking for work on a tugboat or barge. He was scheduled to stay at the Magnuson Hotel from January 20th - January 22nd and had paid for Monday (January 23rd). It is not confirmed whether or not he stayed that night. At the time of Thornhill’s disappearance, he was driving a white GMC extended cab truck.

On Wednesday, January 25th, 2012, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a report about an abandoned vehicle on Kingston Road south of Natchez, Mississippi. The vehicle was found to be Thornhill’s truck. His wallet, phone, clothes, TV, and personal belongings were found inside the truck. His driver’s license and debit card were the only things missing from his personal belongings.

Adams County’s Search and Rescue Team searched more than 600 acres of cut and wooded areas along Kingston Road where the vehicle was abandoned. An aerial search was also conducted. No sign of Thornhill was found during the searches. He has not been seen or heard from since.
