Waldrop was last seen on February 1, 1992, in Gulfport, Mississippi. That day he left the residence he shared with his girlfriend in his yellow 1973 Dodge Dart with black stripes. He had his Chow, Bear, with him when he left.
He went to the Sand Hill Apartments to visit his mother and brother. This was his last contact with anyone. On February 2, Waldrop’s Dodge Dart was found in a parking lot across from a service station on Cedar Lake Road just south of Interstate 10. Bear was found on February 5 but residents in the area say that Bear had been wandering around the area since the date of Waldrop’s disappearance. Few details are available in Waldrop’s case and it remains unsolved at this time.
