case details:

Tullos was last seen walking in the 4400 block of Azalea Circle in Jackson, Mississippi between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. She lived with her grandparents and left the residence after an argument with her mother. She was last seen walking towards Northside Drive. Tullos never returned to the residence that evening and has not been seen or heard from since. She was reported missing later that evening by her family.

Prior to Tullos’ disappearance, she told her aunt that her mother’s boyfriend, Ernest Lee Epps, had sexually assaulted her on June 29th. She stated he had touched her in an inappropriate way while she slept. The abuse was reported and after an investigation, Epps was arrested on July 8th, 1988, for the sexual assault. Though he was arrested, Epps maintained his innocence. Epps was released on bail the day that Tullos disappeared. Investigators have been unable to find evidence to tie him to her case.

Tullos remains missing at this time and her case is unsolved.
