case details:

Major was last seen refueling his airplane at an airport in Vicksburg, Mississippi on November 4th, 1983. He was en route to pick up parts for his combine tractor and witnesses there stated he looked like he was not feeling well. After picking the combine parts up, he lifted off sometime between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. A teacher and class in Vicksburg saw his plane fly overhead as they were going inside to get out of the rain. He never made it back to his private airstrip at his residence in Kilbourne, Louisiana. Authorities and volunteers searched for Major for two weeks but were unsuccessful in their efforts to locate him or any sign of his plane. Major’s case remains unsolved at this time. Both he and his airplane remain missing.
