Rome was last seen in the 300 block of Sunflower Avenue at Red’s Night Club in Clarksdale, Mississippi at around 8:00 p.m. on June 19, 1993. After her disappearance, rumors spread around town that she was murdered and her body was dumped in downtown Clarksdale. Police searched the area and found no sign of Rome. Rome’s case has never been solved and she has not been heard from since.
