Smith-Thompson had a baby on August 11, 1988. Five to six weeks later, she left home to meet some friends and has not been seen or heard from since. Her disappearance was not investigated at the same time she disappeared. During the investigations of a serial killer, Sam Little, Smith-Thompson’s family came forward asking if she may have been a victim of his. No report was found on Smith-Thompson at the time her family came forward, so an official missing person report was filed in December 2018.
