case details:

Townsend was last seen walking east on Highway 14 toward the intersection of Simmons and Hill Road, at approximately 11:00 a.m. on July 23rd, 2015, in Macon, Mississippi. Townsend took this walk daily but on this day she did not return. Where she was last seen was only a 7 to 10 minute walk from her home on Lucy Wilborn Road. Townsend walked to the Neighborhood crossroads every day. When a neighbor hadn’t seen her for over eight hours, he called and reported her missing. She has medical conditions that may impair her judgment. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Noxubee County Investigators told a news outlet in July 0f 2023 that they felt foul play was involved in her Townsend’s disappearance. They state that they had also interviewed 20 people in her case; however, Her case remains unsolved at this time.
