Floyd was last seen on April 18, 1988, at her job at Hancock Fabrics in Tupelo, Mississippi. She received a phone call at work and left around 9:30 a.m. She was crying at the time she left work. The day after, her vehicle was found at the Mighty Mart Convenience Store on West Main Street in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Floyd left behind a 1-year-old daughter and her mother stated that she would not have left her behind willingly. Few details are available in Floyd’s disappearance and her case remains unsolved at this time.
