Williams was last known to be living with her boyfriend on Highway 90 in Pass Christian, Mississippi. She left work from Copa Casino at approximately 8:00 a.m. on July 10, 1995. She called a friend around 10:00 a.m. that morning.
In September, after no contact with her parents who lived out of state, they reported her missing. Williams’ boyfriend stated that she left with a rich friend from Florida. Authorities were able to find that she did have a friend that matched the description given by Williams’ boyfriend. It is still unclear if she ever went to Florida.
Williams left all of her belongings behind, including her car and her last paycheck. A friend with who she kept very close contact via phone and letters has not heard from her since July 1995.
