Barnes was last seen at about 11 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, in the 2000 block of Valley Street in Jackson, Mississippi. On November 25, 2025, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert for Barnes as his family states he suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment. As of December 20, 2025, the Silver Alert has not been canceled by Jackson Police Department.
