Richards last confirmed date of last contact is July 2, 2025, when she was released from the Jefferson Davis County jail in Prentiss, Mississippi. Allegedly people around the town of Prentiss stated that they had seen her after that date; however, that has not been confirmed. After continuous attempts at trying to locate Richards, her daughter reported her missing to the Prentiss Police Department on August 17, 2026. Those who offered tips on possibly seeing Richards stated she told them that she planned to head towards the Gulf Coast. She has not had contact with her family who are very concerned for her welfare. Richards has diabetes, no vehicle, and was living unhoused at the time of last contact.
