Davis was last seen on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022, at around 9:30 a.m. in the 300 block of County Road 343 in the Jacinto area of Alcorn County, Mississippi. At the time, he was seen walking north with his dog, Buddy. Davis was living with Dementia at the time of his disappearance but took a daily 2-mile walk through the woods with Buddy and always returned. When Davis and Buddy had not returned by around 1 p.m., Davis’s wife and son began looking for him and called law enforcement. Law enforcement, search and rescue personnel, and volunteers carried out an extensive 7-day search for Davis, but were unable to locate any sign of him. On July 6th, 2022, Buddy returned home without Davis. Due to his Dementia diagnosis, a Silver Alert has been issued by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation for Davis. He remains missing at this time.
